The number of registered unemployed is rising in Estonia for the fiftieth week in a row, writes
Rus.ERR.
As of January 5 , there were 49,924 924 people – 769 more than the week before.
The registered unemployment rate increased from 7.1% to 7.2% of the economically active population.
In counties the highest unemployment level is still in Ida-Virumaa, where it jumped from 12.6% to 12.8% (7,340 unemployed).
The lowest unemployment rate remains in Hiiumaa – 3.8%.
