Online retailer Ozon plans to build a large universal warehouse for food and non-food products in Dagestan by 2027, writes TASS . The corresponding agreement was signed by the Prime Minister of Dagestan Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov and the General Director of Makhachkala Wholesale and Distribution Center LLC Konstantin Tomenko.

9.6 billion rubles will be invested in the construction of a Dagestan warehouse for Ozon.
“On the sidelines of the Caucasus Investment Forum, Prime Minister of Dagestan Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov and General Director of Makhachkala Wholesale and Distribution Center LLC Konstantin Tomenko signed an agreement of investment intent between the company and the government of Dagestan. The volume of investment in the project will amount to 9.6 billion rubles, construction work is planned to be completed in 2027. The warehouse will be used by one of the largest Russian retailers, Ozon, the press service of the Dagestan government said in a statement.
It is also known that 2,000 new jobs will be created as part of this project.
“The project implementation period is up to five years. A plot of land with an area of 20 hectares has been allocated for the implementation of the project on the territory of the Tyube industrial park. Construction work has already begun; it is planned to implement an investment project for the construction of a universal warehouse for food and non-food products with an area of about 130 thousand square meters. m,” the press service added .
