Investments in green technologies
He stressed that Polmlek invests in green technologies at its plants. There are many by-products in dairy production that can be processed, for example, into biogas. Polmlek Group’s own modern sewage treatment plants and biogas plants are being built at its plants. We use biogas in newly built cogenerators, which produce both cold and heat for our plants.
In our plant in Lidzbark Warmiński we already have 3 cogenerators, and in Piotrków Kujawski we have a new sewage treatment plant and a cogenerator. Thanks to such investments, we produce our own clean green energy,” stressed Szymon Borucki.
