Market participants believe that Borjomi has decided to sell one of its production facilities due to its desire to focus on federal brands and avoid competition with regional players. Analysts also noted that the deal could cost the parties 60–65 million rubles.
At the beginning of June, Ust-Kamensky Trading House LLC became the owner of 100% of the shares in Karachinskaya Zvezda LLC. Previously, the structure was controlled by Clean Water Company LLC (99% shares) and Minvody Borjomi (1%). Both structures are part of IDS Borjomi Russia and they belong to the offshore Highroad Holdings (managed by Rissa Investments Limited, the parent structure of IDS Borjomi).
Karachinskaya Zvezda LLC was created in 2023. On its balance sheet is a license to develop a mineral water well in the Chanovsky district of the Novosibirsk region, in addition, Karachinskaya Zvezda produces Chistozerye water.
