Big drop in weaner prices in Denmark
Today's quotations on the Danish stock exchange for weaners brought further price declines. The downward trend has been observed for eight weeks now.

Weaner pigs with a negative PRRS status were again valued at DKK 525.00/piece, and pigs with a positive PRRS status this time at DKK 495.00/piece. The rates apply to weaners weighing 30 kg.
Compared to the prices from the same period last year (week 33), the current prices for weaners are DKK 170-190/piece lower. depending on health status. In turn, compared to last week, current rates are lower by 30-35 DKK/pcs. depending on health status, i.e. by approx. PLN 17.40 – 20.30 (after taking into account changes in exchange rates, the difference is approx. PLN 15-18/piece).

- The rate for weaners with negative PRRS status is DKK 525.00/piece, i.e. PLN 304.13/piece, compared to PLN 319.24/piece. last week.
- The rate for weaners with a positive PRRS status is DKK 495.00/piece, i.e. PLN 286.75/piece, compared to PLN 304.86/piece. last week.
- The rate for weaners with conventional status is DKK 470.00/piece, i.e. PLN 272.27/piece, compared to PLN 290.48/piece. last week.

These rates will be valid in Denmark for the next week.
Please note that the above rates include a bonus for the weaner producer and, in the case of import, also transport costs.
