What do we know about Avon?
Avon has been operating worldwide for 137 and in Poland for 33 years in Poland. So far, it has offered cosmetics through direct sales by consultants, which gave the company access to 6 percent of 100 percent of potential female customers. Now Avon is also fighting for the 94 percent of people who do not buy cosmetics in the direct sales format. Especially since the cosmetics market in Poland is growing at a double-digit rate and a younger generation has entered the market, which does not buy in the direct sales channel, i.e. through catalogs and consultants. Hence the company’s presence in Rossmann drugstores since October this year.
Avon offers products in 500 of the 1800 Rossmann drugstores in Poland. 49 of them are outlets in Warsaw. By doing so, Avon wants to reach new customers and increase brand recognition, while not neglecting consultants, because according to the company’s research, the introduction of Avon stands in drugstores in other countries has increased the turnover of consultants operating in the immediate area. – The presence in stores allows consumers to see the high quality of our cosmetics. This keeps them coming back to the consultants, as they have access to the full product portfolio and will help provide professional advice,” says the head of Avon in Poland.
As part of the omnichannel strategy, the brand’s online store has been in operation for some time. Since last year, Avon products have also been available in the brand’s official zone on Allegro, and since this year, also on empik.pl.
