Avito users have become more active in selling and buying collectibles related to the 1980 Olympics in Moscow and the 2014 Olympics in Sochi – sales have grown by 30%, and the number of ads in this category has grown by 13%.
Thus, the volume of offers of figurines, statues, badges, coins, banknotes and other collectibles on the platform has grown by 21% over the past month, and sales in this category have increased by 1.5 times. Badges with the 1980 Olympics, including the famous bear, can be purchased for a price of 100 rubles. A keychain with the symbols of the Sochi Olympics costs 1,020 rubles, and a collectible watch dedicated to the Moscow Olympics is sold for 8,900 rubles. And for 5,700 rubles you can buy a new tracksuit based on the uniform from the USSR Olympics.
Various tableware – sets, plates, cups, spoons, etc. – with Olympic symbols were put up for sale 24% more often, and were bought 59% more often than a month earlier. The average bill in this category was 6,500 rubles.
At the same time, the greatest demand is for items with the symbols of the 1980 Olympics – their sales increased by 38%, while goods dedicated to the 2014 Olympics were purchased more often by 14%.
