Avito Rabota surveyed more than 7,000 working Russians to find out how they assess their balance between work and personal time. 71% of respondents believe that they manage to control their time and have no problems combining work and personal life. At the same time, Russians spend an average of 14,575 rubles per month on hobbies and various methods of maintaining emotional health.

More than half of the Russians surveyed (52%) noted that watching movies or listening to their favorite music helps them maintain their mental well-being. 49% find relief in time spent with family and loved ones. Minimizing negativity and striving to maintain comfortable relationships with others, just like playing sports, help 30% of Russians maintain balance. 29% of respondents are engaged in their favorite hobby, 23% monitor their rest time: full sleep, relaxation on weekends, 17% travel regularly, and 13% practice healthy eating.
Those surveyed from Moscow spent the most on mental well-being—21,948 rubles per month on average. In second place in terms of the amount of spending was Voronezh (19,444 rubles per month), and third place was taken by Nizhny Novgorod (18,468 rubles per month. Residents of Chelyabinsk allocate less than other funds for hobbies and personal time – on average 10,147 rubles per month.
In the context of professional areas, specialists from the banking and investment industry (28,485 rubles), marketing, advertising and PR (21,934 rubles) and the automotive business (21,126 rubles) noted high spending on mental well-being and hobbies.
