There are corporate discount systems for all employees,” commented Svetlana Tkachenko, HR Director of the Kuban Vino winery, Chateau Taman brand.

“We are really short of tractor drivers. Out of season, the staff shortage is 10%, and during the wine growing season, from April to October, this figure increases to 27%. There is also an acute shortage of winegrowers themselves – people who care for the grapes and harvest them. The shortage of these specialists exceeds 50%. A small part of Fanagoria’s need for such people is met by internal migrant workers, but this does not completely solve the problem of hiring people to work in the vineyards. There are several reasons for this: a decrease in young people’s interest in the profession, and high competition in the industry,” said Pyotr Romanishin, CEO of the Fanagoria company.
