The Austrian company Regent Pflugfabrik declared bankruptcy last year. The restructuring of the plant was unsuccessful, so the company's assets are now in the hands of the trustee. The factory is to be auctioned, and for now the trustee is selling off everything he can, Agrarheute reports.
Several thousand opportunities
5,896 items were put up for sale on the online auction portal aurena.at, constituting all the movable property of the Austrian bankrupt. Regent has been producing agricultural machinery for 90 years. The auctions included, among others: new cultivators, seeders, plows and harrows from the yard, which the factory did not manage to sell. There is also lightly used equipment, after field demonstrations.
Machines to choose from
For example, the Regent Ventra seeder was offered with a starting price of EUR 4,200. The Regent Raptor heavy cultivator can be had for 23,000 euros. However, offers are already coming in from interested parties, so prices are changing. For example, the Regent Orbit 4500 rotary harrow was listed with a starting price of EUR 3,200, but now it must be offered at least EUR 5,600. The price for the Regent Raptor RX600F cultivator has gone from EUR 4,200 to EUR 7,000.
For the workshop and for the collection
In addition to agricultural machinery, the auction also included passenger cars and trucks in the company's inventory, as well as office and workshop equipment. The auction included workshop trolleys and forks, sets of wrenches, cabinets and workbenches, power tools, welding machines, paint guns and compressors, impact wrenches, and even a Trumpf laser cutting system, CNC milling machines, lathes and table drills.
There are also treats for collectors of company gadgets and souvenirs, which are also abundant in Poland. There is, for example, a historic sign removed from the plant's headquarters, company workwear, plastic models of plows, and lighters with the logo of the bankrupt company.
