We are writing to you with an urgent appeal for increased vigilance in connection with the situation in the neighboring commune of Lubień Kujawski, especially in the towns of Szewo and Bilno. There has been information that a straw stack arsonist may be operating on the border of our commune, which poses a serious threat to our crops and safety. Please pay special attention to unknown people and vehicles near your farms. We encourage you to secure your straw stacks and monitor your areas. If you notice any disturbing situations, immediately contact local emergency services and inform your neighbors. Cooperation and mutual assistance are crucial in this situation. Thank you for your attention and commitment – appealed the local fire brigade.
We hope that the police actions will bring results and that last night's events will not be repeated. We farmers will be able to sleep peacefully and safely after hard work. However, while the perpetrators are free, let us remain particularly vigilant – writes Damian Deska, whose straw was set on fire, on his social media profile.
Both services and residents are on high alert. An investigation is currently underway to capture the arsonist and determine his motives.
