
According to Eurostat’s express estimate, annual inflation in the Eurozone in January compared with December increased by 0,1 percentage points to 2.5 percent, while in Estonia dropped by 1.3 percentage points from 4.1 to 2.8 percent.

According to Eurostat’s Express Estimates Eurostat, annual inflation in the eurozone in January compared with December increased by 0,1 percentage points to 2.5 percent, while in Estonia dropped by 1.3 percentage points from 4.1 to
2.8 percent.
Of those countries in the Eurostat data that Eurostat has inflation in January was highest only in Croatia (5 percent), Belgium (4.4 percent) and Slovakia (4.1 percent), Eurostat reported.
Inflation was lowest in Ireland (1.5 percent) and Finland (1.6 percent). In Latvia it was three percent, and in Lithuania 3.4 percent.
In January eurozone inflation was stimulated most by prices for services (up 3.9 percent). These were followed by prices for foods, beverages and tobacco products (2.3 percent) and industrial goods (1.8 percent).
