Apple's foldable iPhone is expected to fold horizontally, similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. Over the past few months, the company has been approaching component suppliers in Asia to produce parts for the upcoming smartphone. Initially, the new gadget was planned to be released on the market in 2024, but later the deadline was shifted to 2026.
Samsung introduced the first smartphone with a folding screen back in 2020. In 2023, a new generation of folding smartphone from Xiaomi called Mix Fold 3 appeared on the market.
