On Tuesday, the director of the Estonian Economic Institute, Peeter Raudsepp, said that we are moving towards the top five most expensive countries in Europe. For example, Eurostat data for 2023 showed that wardrobe changes will cost the most in Denmark, the Czech Republic and Estonia, where prices are 131, 126 and 118 percent of the EU average respectively. Prime Minister Kristen Michal spoke out against Raudsepp, saying that in fact Estonia ranks 15th in the European Economic Area and 12th in the EU. Be that as it may, even businessmen do not object to the fact that durable goods in Estonian stores are really expensive.
