A large increase in the price of rapeseed on MATIF
After a strong correction in rapeseed prices (July 8-15), prices have been rising again for three days and have already made up for more than half of the previous decline (chart below).
The prices of rapeseed in the contract for delivery in August on the Paris Stock Exchange increased by 2.4 percent yesterday. and amounted to EUR 487.25/t (PLN 2,093/t) and were 4.7% higher. higher than last year.
Canadian rapeseed has gained even more than European rapeseed
American soybean prices increased by 0.1%. and cost USD 403.62/t. On a y/y basis, the price of soybeans decreased by 26.3%. Canadian canola prices increased by 2.8%. and amounted to 649.70 CAD/t, and over the last year they decreased by 22.8%.
