Over the past year, considerable investments have been made by the central government in the Kėdainiai Free Economic Zone. Last spring, 2.5 million was allocated. euro injection, and more recently – another 585.6 thousand. euros.
Most of it was allocated to electricity networks
The Ministry of Economy and Innovation allocated 10.3 million to 12 Lithuanian municipalities. EUR financing for the installation and maintenance of infrastructure up to or within investment plots of land.
For the money received, the municipality of Kėdainiai district prepared a technical project for the reconstruction of water supply networks, which cost almost 128 thousand. euros.
The technical project for the reconstruction and development of electrical networks was also prepared, which cost the most – 411 thousand. euros.

Works for 2.5 million euros finished last year
Last year, the Ministry of Economy and Innovation allocated 5 million to Kaunas district, Klaipėda city and Kėdainai. euros, and half of this amount settled in our district.
Almost 2.2 million EUR was allocated for the reconstruction of West and Vandenvietė streets located in the LEZ.
Another 729 thousand EUR was allocated for the installation of melioration networks.
After the money was allocated, it was indicated that the works should be completed by the end of the year. As a result, it was possible to complete all the allocated funds and all the work in 2023.
