New focus of flu birds in Mazovia
As follows from information posted on the website of the Head Inspectorate of Veterinary, 2. focus HPAI in Poland in 2025 year. confirmed on 10.01.2025 year in a commercial farm in the location Kobyla L±ka, in the municipality Bie¿in, in Zuromin county, in the province of Mazovia. In this farm there were 28 337 indicators of the religious.
Two focus flu birds since early year
Since early year there have been already two focus flu birds, one in the Lodz province and one in Mazovia.
The disease attacked in stadiums:
- of turkey (losses 28 337 pcs.),
- of poultry of various species (losses 4 484 pcs.).
A new focus of influenza birds has been identified subtype of virus
of birds H5N1.
The total number of poultry in focal areas is now 32 821 pc (as of day 13.01.2025 year).
