The fire occurred on August 1, in the afternoon. The fire from the burning combine spread to the grain and then to the nearby forest.
The following units of the State Fire Service and Volunteer Fire Department were sent to the site of operations: JRG Krasnystaw, Volunteer Fire Department Rudnik, Volunteer Fire Department Gorzków. After the units arrived at the site, it was found that during field work there had been a fire in the combine engine compartment and that grain was burning on the stump, and that the fire had spread to the undergrowth of the nearby forest. The firefighters' actions consisted of extinguishing the fire using a fire extinguisher and by applying water to the burning grain and forest vegetation, informed the State Fire Service Headquarters in Krasnystaw.
