Revolution in Aldi car parks. Every driver should know about it
Aldi in Strzelce Opolskie
The Aldi store will be built on an area of about 50 ares, where beverage and fruit wholesalers once operated. The demolition of the old buildings has recently been completed. Consumers from Strzelce Opolskie will be able to shop at the German chain probably before Christmas.
– The opening of the Aldi store in Strzelce Opolskie at Krakowska Street is planned for the fourth quarter of 2024, but we will be able to announce the exact date at a later date – informs Luiza Urbańska from the Aldi Polska press office, quoted by nto.pl.
As he adds, promotions and attractions for residents will be planned for the opening day. In addition, each week customers will find about a hundred products at promotional prices and culinary themed events.
A shop with a historic tenement house
The Aldi store in Strzelce Opolskie will look different from stores in other cities. The building will be connected to a historic tenement house, the former Krakus restaurant, which the conservator of monuments did not agree to remove. The investor will only demolish the partition walls inside the tenement house and rebuild the building in such a way as to connect it with the supermarket. From the outside, the building will look like a residential tenement house, while inside customers will be able to shop.
The sales area in the store will be about 1,000 sq m. A parking lot for about 40 cars will be built next to the facility. The chain plans to employ about 50 people in Strzelce Opolskie.
Aldi is not stopping with openings. Last month alone, it opened 6 new retail outlets. It says that it plans to open a total of around 60 new locations throughout the year.
