Police technicians found at the site millions of chemicals used for the large-scale production of amphetamine. About 80 barrels of chemicals, a laboratory and a reactor used to produce amphetamine were seized. According to the district police headquarters in Euskirchen, the enterprising senior could use them to produce 335 kilograms of amphetamine worth over EUR 3.3 million.
The 73-year-old host was temporarily arrested. The investigation is ongoing and police believe the case is ongoing. Investigators are trying to identify the suppliers and recipients of the owner of the illegal business.
