As reported by the City Police Headquarters in Biała Podlaska, a man performing maintenance work on a combine harvester entered a grain tank, where, trying to start the conveyor, he put his leg in the so-called "snake". He was taken to hospital with bodily injuries. A test showed almost two per mille of alcohol in his system.
We appeal to exercise common sense and caution during field work and when handling agricultural machinery. Remember that a moment of inattention and routine can lead to tragedy. Seemingly simple activities performed against safety rules can be dangerous to health and even life.
