- This is where 20 of the 27 infected apiaries were located.
- Podkarpacie is also the leader in the number of cases confirmed since the beginning of this year. Almost 2/3 of all outbreaks this year have occurred there.
Where have American foulbrood outbreaks occurred?
In July, foulbrood outbreaks were confirmed in the following locations:
- Lublin Province – 1 outbreak in Janów County
- Łódź Province – 1 outbreak in Piotrków County
- Podkarpackie Province – 20 outbreaks in the following counties: Bieszczady, Brzozów, Krosno, Sanok and Lesko
- Silesian Voivodeship – 1 outbreak in Bielsk County
- Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship – 1 outbreak in Kielce County
- Wielkopolska Province – 2 outbreaks in Ostrów and Poznań
- West Pomeranian Voivodeship – 1 outbreak in Choszczno County

In addition to the regions mentioned above, the disease also occurred in the Pomeranian Voivodeship in the earlier months of the year.

Since the beginning of the year, 61 outbreaks of American foulbrood have been confirmed in the country. In the same period last year, there were 10 more outbreaks. In the whole of last year, 187 outbreaks of the disease were confirmed, which was the worst result since 2019.
