On July 11, 2024, Law No. 358-Z of March 7, 2024 came into force, providing for changes to the Law “On State Regulation of Trade and Public Catering,” the press service of the House of Representatives reported.
Main changes of the new Law:
1. Shops and public catering establishments do not need to agree on operating hours after 23:00 and before 7:00, unless retail trade in alcoholic, low-alcohol drinks and (or) beer is carried out.
2. Retail trade using the Internet is permitted, not only through an online store, but also using other information networks, systems and resources that are connected to the Internet, providing the opportunity to select goods and conclude a retail purchase and sale agreement with this trade entity these networks, systems and on these resources.
