Alexey Chernega graduated from the Moscow State University of Food Production in 2013 in the areas of "production management technology, fermentation technology and winemaking". As the press service of the plant writes, white, red and pink still wines created by Alexey received high marks in the authoritative ratings of domestic wines Top100Wines, Roskachestvo and others.
Alexey began his career as a technologist in the biodynamic project of Pavel Shvets Uppa Winery. Another significant stage in his professional career is working with the YAIYLA brand. He also took part in various private projects as an independent consultant. From 2020 until recently, he held the position of chief winemaker at Usadba Perovskikh, where he created aged red wines from classic European grape varieties, and also introduced premium orange wines.
Since 2023, Alexey has worked as an independent consultant and has become the author of still wines in various styles at Agora Winery, Patrey Winery and YAIYLA.
