After analyzing air ticket sales data and general market trends, Latvian national airline airBaltic has announced the most popular destinations from Riga in August 2024. These include Rome, Amsterdam and Milan. airBaltic offers six weekly flights to Rome from Riga, up to three daily flights to Amsterdam and five weekly flights to Milan. In addition to these flights, Paris, Heraklion, London and Prague are also popular destinations in August. Passengers' choice of destinations for the next month shows strong interest in travel to Italy and Greece, as well as other European destinations offering both leisure and business travel opportunities. In May, airBaltic expanded its network by launching 15 new routes, including seven destinations in South-Eastern Europe. In addition, the airline plans to launch six new routes in the upcoming winter season – from Riga to Madeira, to Innsbruck, Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada, from Tallinn to Kittila and from Vilnius to Oslo (Thorp). This year, airBaltic will operate more than 130 routes from all its bases, which is the largest number of routes in the airline's history. In cooperation with 24 partner airlines, airBaltic will also provide instant connections to destinations around the world.
