On January 2 January airBaltic announced the cancellation of 4670 year-old flights from Riga, Tallin, Vilnius and Tampere. Reason: the requirement for repair and replacement of engines. At the same time Latvian airline has already long been leasing its new aircraft and crews to Lufthansa, which unofficially is called a possible strategic investor airBaltic.
