The largest airline in the Baltic countries, AirBaltic, in 2024 reached a new record, with 73 300 flights and carried 8.3
million passengers.
In the words of President and CEO Martin Gauss, in 2024 the company has reinforced its position as a key player in European aviation. “We are proud that despite the difficult external environment, we have achieved record results, which confirms the trust of our passengers and the commitment of our team to provide reliable and safe air travel,” Gauss said.
AirBaltic carried 8.3 million passengers, which is 18% more than in 2023 and performed a record number of flights. Average aircraft occupancy increased to 81.2 percent, which is 4.5 percentage points up from last year’s level.
In 2025 the 30th anniversary year for the company, AirBaltic plans to maintain the high service levels and continue to cope with the demands of the aviation industry.
In December 2024 AirBaltic carried 423 000 passengers – 25% more than the same period last year. There were 3,820 flight operations, and the airplane occupancy rate was 80.1 percent, which is 8.6 percentage points higher than the year ear earlier.
In Estonia in December 2024 year of Passenger Trafficincreased by 29%, to 73 000 people, and the number of flights increased by 4%, to 689.
The airline serves more than 130 routes from Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius, Tampere and seasonally from Gran Canaria, offering flights to European cities, toMiddleEast,toNorthAfricaandCaucasus.
