In the draft budget act for 2025 adopted by the Council of Ministers, the planned expenditure of the state budget and the budget of European funds for agriculture, rural development, agricultural markets, fisheries, including KRUS, amounts to PLN 85 billion, which means an increase of almost 9% compared to the budget act for 2024 – he said.
According to the ministry, the higher budget amount is mainly due to the increase in farmers' pensions and retirement benefits.
