A serious accident occurred yesterday on a farm in Niedźwice, Koprzywnica commune, Sandomierz county, Świętokrzyskie province. An Ursus tractor with a trailer loaded with timber overturned in an orchard, crushing the tractor driver.
Firefighters from PSP Sandomierz, OSP Zbigniewice, OSP Gnieszowice and OSP Koprzywnica rushed to the farmer's rescue. Firefighters stabilized the overturned tractor using pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, then freed the injured man from under the vehicle. The man was conscious. He was taken to hospital by ambulance.
