A fire in a truck with wood occurred yesterday before noon in a forest parking lot in Przechód in the Korfonów commune, in the province. Opole province.
6 fire brigades from the State Fire Service in Nysa, the State Fire Service in Niemodlin, the Volunteer Fire Department in Korfonów, the Volunteer Fire Department in Tułowice and the Volunteer Fire Department in Sowin were dispatched to extinguish the fire – according to the website ratownictwo.opole.pl. Thanks to quick actions, firefighters prevented the fire from spreading from the tractor to the trailers with wood, or to the surrounding forest.
The driver did not suffer any injuries and left the vehicle's cabin in time. The causes of the fire are unknown. The amount of losses was also not disclosed.
