Zamość police investigate the course and causes of a tragic accident in the forest, near the village of Turzyniec in the commune of Zwierzyniec (Lublin Province). A 59-year-old man was crushed by a farm tractor. The man died at the scene.
The activities carried out on site indicate that a resident of the Zwierzyniec commune was working with a tractor on a hill, where he was pulling out a tree trunk attached to the Ursus. He probably caught on another tree, as a result of which the tractor overturned and the man was crushed.
Two other men who were on the scene immediately provided aid to the 59-year-old, called for help and began resuscitation. Unfortunately, the man's life could not be saved. As a result of the injuries sustained, the 59-year-old died at the scene.
