Reduction in prices of weaner pigs in Denmark

Today's quotations on the Danish weaner stock exchange brought another price change. This is the second week of declines.

Weaner pigs with a negative PRRS status were valued at DKK 625.00/piece, and pigs with a positive PRRS status at DKK 615.00/piece. The rates apply to weaners weighing 30 kg.

Compared to the prices from the same period last year (week 27), the current prices for weaners are DKK 105/piece lower. In turn, compared to last week, the current rates are lower by 30 DKK/pcs, i.e. by approx. PLN 17.33 ( after taking into account changes in exchange rates, the difference is approx. PLN 18.70/pcs ).

Current rates for Danish weaners (27/06/2024)

The rate for weaners with negative PRRS status is DKK 625.00/piece, i.e. PLN 361.06/piece, compared to PLN 379.77/piece. last week.
The rate for weaners with a positive PRRS status is DKK 615.00/piece, i.e. PLN 355.29/piece, compared to PLN 373.97/piece. last week.
The rate for weaners with conventional status is DKK 590.00/piece, i.e. PLN 340.84/piece, compared to PLN 359.48/piece. last week.
