A survey conducted by SEB Bank showed that a quarter of Estonian residents aged 18-29 do not have their own transport and do not plan to buy one in the future – the main reasons given by young people were the lack of a driver's license and a preference for walking, cycling or public transport.
A survey conducted by SEB among young people aged 18–29 showed that while 39% of them use a car as their daily means of transport, 33% prefer to use public transport to get to their destination. Residents of Tallinn, Harju County and Järva County prefer public transport the most.
Young people use public transport more often: almost half of 18-19 year olds and 40% of 20-25 year olds use public transport as their main means of transport.
