The OZ retail chain opened a night bookstore in the center of Minsk on June 26. It hosted a bestseller sale that lasted from 9 pm to 4 am. Book prices were 20-40% below normal daily prices. Customers were treated to coffee, and those who came to the store in their pajamas were given a book.
A bookstore in an unusual format opened at 3 Pobediteley Avenue near Nemiga. The focus will be on popular works and the latest news. OZ positions it as a bestseller store.
The midnight store will operate in the format of sales, which should attract customers. Books from publishing houses Eksmo and AST will be 40% cheaper, and books from ABC, Alpiny and Rosmen will be 30% cheaper. All others will fall in price by 20%.
“This is the first night book for us, although the format is widely known in the world. We have agreed with various publishers: the sale will feature world bestsellers at prices close to cost. Among them are both popular books from the TOP 10 and the latest new titles, including the just released Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros. Perhaps this will be an incentive to read more. And we will also have a pleasant atmosphere, so you can stop by even in slippers,” notes the OZ network.
The store will offer free coffee. And those who come in pajamas will receive a book as a gift. Vendors will also work in home clothes.
