According to Piotr Szumlewicz, chairman of the Trade Union of Trade Union of Trade Union of KRUS, on July 2 this year. Another meeting of trade unions and the authorities of the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund took place.

– During the meeting, the KRUS authorities confirmed that they would meet our two demands that we formulated as part of the collective dispute, i.e. the introduction of flexible hours and working time records. However, no specific details have been presented on this matter yet, so talks in this area will continue, emphasizes Piotr Szumlewicz.

At the same time – as Szumlewicz adds – our union upheld two wage demands that appeared in the collective dispute, i.e. an increase in wages by 20% from this year's, not last year's, minimum wage, and an increase in the basic salary by 60%.

– The KRUS authorities repeated that they support a significant increase in employee wages, but for now they do not have their own funds from which they could finance these increases. However, the company's president declared that in the coming weeks he will apply to the Council of Ministers for additional funds for employee salaries – informs Szumlewicz.

The chairman of the Trade Union of Trade Union of Trade Union in KRUS added that during the meeting the KRUS authorities announced that they would like to prepare a new position evaluation system and that they plan to use an external auditing company in this matter.

– The employer's declarations met our criticism of large pay inequalities among people employed in the same positions. However, we expressed our strong opposition to the disregard of the trade union side in the work on the new remuneration system. Our representatives firmly demanded the presence of trade unionists in these works. They also emphasized that the basis for the payroll system should be the Labor Code, including its Art. 18 (3c), according to which "employees have the right to equal remuneration for equal work or for work of equal value," Szumlewicz noted.
