Nearly 6,000 tons of food went to those in need as part of the Caritas Pantry program
So far, Spiżarnia has used a round logo with three trucks in its communication. The change in the visual identification system is a response to the changes that are taking place in Spiżarnia. The company is developing, both territorially, in terms of assortment and quality, in many areas – offer, service, deliveries, support, or technologies used.
– One of the assets that every company has is its image, which is often shaped for years on the target market and in the minds of recipients. It is also influenced by visual identification, in which the logo plays the main role. This is what the company, its main areas of activity and achievements should be associated with. The new Spiżarnia brand logo is a response to the development of our organization and changing market conditions and industry trends – says Beata Sykuła, marketing director and Spiżarnia franchise network.
The new graphic sign consists of two elements – a trapezoid and a rectangle with rounded corners. Due to its simplicity, this shape can evoke various associations. Enriched with the brand context contained in the logotype (Pantry), it brings to mind the association of a warehouse and a transport vehicle, and then cargo (pallet) and a car mirror (additional association, which is contained primarily in the supplementary version of the sign). These elements refer to the company's business process and constitute the essence of its functioning.
Spiżarnia intends to gradually introduce changes to the company's labeling. The website, social media, the Spizarnia24.com sales platform and all promotional materials will also be adapted to the new system. The new logo has already appeared on the shirts of Motor Lublin footballers. Spiżarnia is the strategic sponsor of this most popular club in the Lublin region.
New warehouse in England
The Pantry supplies over 600 local retailers in England, employing 80 staff alone. Due to its expansion, the company was looking for new storage facilities. It managed to find larger warehouses at Peckett Plaza in Gainsborough. In parallel, the company is recruiting staff. The Pantry currently has warehouses in London, Manchester, Portadown and Lincoln.
– Finding a location in this part of England was very important to us, due to the location of Lincolnshire County, which allows for convenient access to our communication routes with the European continent. The new location will also enable us to recruit employees. And consequently, it will allow us to successfully conduct further business expansion – says Przemysław Duklas, director of Spiżarnia in Great Britain.
Spiżarnia is a Polish company that distributes domestic food products and chemical and cosmetic products abroad.
