According to data from the Department of Statistics, 85 companies went bankrupt in Estonia in the first six months of this year, writes Rus.ERR.
Almost a quarter of them operated in the manufacturing sector, 16 in the construction sector.
Compared with the same period last year, the number of bankrupt companies has increased by almost 12%.
Also, in the first half of 2024, 13,014 enterprises were registered in Estonia, which is 3.5% more than in the same period in 2023.
