President of Kaufland: We are convinced that brand recognition will make Kaufland Marketplace one of the most popular e-commerce platforms in Poland
– The foundation of the Kaufland chain's operations has always been stationary trade, based on direct contact with the customer. As a company open to innovation, we are going one step further and will soon offer consumers access to a wide range of products from various categories also online, and we will provide sellers from Poland with access to an attractive Polish and international distribution channel, which will open the way for them to develop their business. We are convinced that the recognition and values of our brand will make Kaufland Marketplace one of the most popular e-commerce platforms in our country – says Michał Łagunionek, President of the Management Board of Kaufland Polska.
Kaufland Marketplace will cooperate with external retailers who will offer their products on the online service on their own behalf. Access to the platform will be possible in a browser as well as through the network's mobile application. In addition to the price and offer details, customers will also find information about a given seller on the website. Customers will receive items purchased via the platform directly from the seller. If you have any questions about an item or order, Kaufland customer service will provide support via the hotline or contact form.
Poland is the fourth country where customers can use the Kaufland Global Marketplace solution
The new platform will be an e-commerce space for large and small online sellers from Poland and abroad. Today, there are over 2,000 retailers registered on the Polish platform. Poland becomes the fourth country where they can use the Kaufland Global Marketplace solution as a sales channel. In all countries where the platform is present, 11,000 retailers already conduct their business using this tool, reaching not only millions of marketplace visitors, but also over 13 million users of the Kaufland application and 16 million consumers using Kaufland Card.
