By resolution of September 3, 2024, the District Court in Wałbrzych declared the debtor Przedsiębiorstwo Piekarsko-Cukiernicze Machela (registered office Jaszkowa Dolna) bankrupt. The court called on the bankrupt's creditors to report their claims to the trustee (Restructuring Advisor Kamila Dyła) and called on other persons who have personal rights and claims against the real estate belonging to the bankrupt to report them to the trustee.

A bakery with traditions is going bankrupt. A chain of company stores and a franchise
The history of the Machela company dates back to 2000. At that time, Lech Machela took over a bankrupt bakery in Kłodzko on Szpitalna Street with an area of less than 100 square meters. In 2010, the commercial law company PPC Machela Sp. z o. o. was established, which completely replaced the Piekarnia Bagietka company. The years 2013-14 were a time of opening company and franchise outlets. The replacement of the Piekarnia Bagietka brand with the new name Piekarnia Machela was also coming to an end.
On January 1, 2020, PPC Machela Sp. z o. o. from Jaszkowa Dolna took over the bakery company ZPChR Kajzerka Sp. z o. o. in Żelazno, becoming the largest bakery and confectionery company in this part of Poland, employing over 300 people.
According to data from the company's website, Machela currently operates a network of 17 of its own stores.
Bankruptcies in 2024 It will be a sad year
In the first half of 2024, 219 company bankruptcies were published in the Court and Economic Monitor and the National Register of Indebted Persons, according to analyses conducted by the Central Economic Information Center.
However, COIG emphasizes that in 2024, 1,197 entrepreneurs declared consumer bankruptcy instead of company bankruptcy.

In 2024, we had 1,278 bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings, in 2023 we had 4,649 such proceedings, in 2022 2,730, in 2021 2,270, in 2020 1,387, and in 2019 1,051 – we read in the report.
