“Modern readers love works in which magic and miracles are skillfully woven into urban reality. This partly explains the success of the Harry Potter universe, whose novels are still top sellers. The book “(Not) Clean Minsk” also offers a fresh look at what your favorite city can be. And what you will read on its pages will shake your imagination. And since the stories are written by different writers, the stories turned out to be different – with their own plot, characters and subtext. We expect that the book will become a new Belarusian bestseller,” noted in the network OZ.
According to the authors, the book is dedicated to fans of urban fantasy and mystical stories. And also to those who want to know Minsk from an unexpected side. The heroes of the stories see a mermaid’s tail in the dark waters of Svislocha, a ghostly silhouette of a ballerina near the Bolshoi Theater, an extra statue at the Gate of Minsk and a midnight cab.
Fantasy writers advise not to confess about the bell ringing on the platform, not to argue with the pastry chef of the Tsentralny department store and to follow the stars that disappear for a reason.
