A 12-year-old motorcycle passenger was taken to hospital after a dog hit the bike. A 62-year-old cyclist was injured as a result of a collision with a deer. Both accidents occurred in the Lublin Voivodeship.
The first incident took place on a paved municipal road in Bukowina. According to the police, the 26-year-old was driving a Kawasaki motorcycle carrying a 12-year-old boy. Suddenly, a dog ran out of the property and hit the side of the motorcycle. As a result of the impact, the teenager's leg was placed between the wheel and the frame of the vehicle, which resulted in serious injuries – according to the police.
The boy was taken to a hospital in Lublin by an air ambulance helicopter. It turned out that the 26-year-old did not have a license to drive a motorcycle and the bike did not have up-to-date technical tests.
A 62-year-old cyclist collided with a deer that ran onto the road in Zastawki, Bielsko County. After the collision, the cyclist drove off the road and fell from the vehicle. The woman with bodily injuries was taken to hospital.
