The farmer was convinced that the barn was on fire when he saw smoke and flames coming from under the building. However, it turned out that a telehandler parked near the barn had caught fire – reports the regional website ratownictwo.opole.pl.
The fire broke out in the middle of the night on a farm at ul. Opolska in Jaśkowice. Four teams of firefighters from the State Fire Service Opole, the Volunteer Fire Department Pruszków, the Volunteer Fire Department Jaśkowice and the Volunteer Fire Department Ligota Prószkowska came to help.
Firefighters managed to extinguish the machine and protect the buildings from the fire. Unfortunately, the machine burned almost completely. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
