Sales of Russian brands of clothing, shoes and accessories grew in 2024 year faster than foreign brands, write “Vedomosti”. They also took up to 70% of the Fashion categories on domestic marketplaces.

Leaders in sales on marketplaces by the end of 2024 year were Russian brands Befree, Zarina, Sela, Gloria Jeans, O’stin, “Yours”. Analytics “Yandex Market” noted that for this period sales of Russian brands segment mass-market increased in 5 times by compared with 2023 year, in while as sales of brands from local designers (brands Feelz, Gate31, IRNBY, Sorry, I’m not) in the clothing, shoes and accessories categories increased by 3 times.

On Wildberries also recorded growth of sales of goods from Russian brands clothing – in last year this parameter also increased twice, and for some brands of top-30 – up to 580% to the previous year, in while while as the share of foreign brands, correspondingly, decreased.

On Ozon sales of goods of Russian designers for nine months 2024 year increased more than in two fold year to year. In Russian sellers and brands for this period became 35,8% of turnover category Fashion. On Lamoda the rates of growth of Russian brands even in 2023 year practically equaled with foreign, their share in the structure of sales in 2024 year will remain at the level 40-50% of all revenues online platform.

According to the followingmarket participants, in the last year the marketplaces were covered by a new wave of growth in demand. Low prices for domestic clothing and footwear became the main reason for the increased interest of customers.
