In the first half of 2024, Aldi opened 10 new stores in Poland, adding branches in Lublin, Józefów, Świebodzin, Nowa Sól, Białystok, Tychy, Żuromin, Prudnik, Katowice and Warsaw to the network.
The stores have been prepared in accordance with the brand's new visual concept, the main theme of which is freshness, visible both in the way of arranging the space, as well as the assortment and its display. The chain also provided additional amenities for customers, such as a bread slicer and small shopping carts for the youngest customers. With the specific needs of its customers in mind, ALDI also runs quiet hours during which the level of stimulation in the store is reduced. The chain employed a dozen or so employees for the newly opened branches.
